AMORES project – aimed at developing children’s love for literature – is taking part in World Book and Copyright Day and World Book Night celebrations this year. To mark the occasion, the five European schools taking part in the project will hold a joint videoconference on 23 April at noon to share their experiences in the project.

Several groups of students have already taken part in videoconferences as part of the AMORES pilot implementation stage. These meetings were opportunities to share and discuss with students from other countries the digital artefacts they had created based on works of national literature.
Furthermore, the two Croatian project partners – CARNet and Horvati Primary School – are organizing a workshop which will help teachers foster their pupils’ love of reading and literature. This will be an excellent opportunity for the wider teaching community to learn more about the AMORES methodology of teaching literature through digital collaboration and creativity.
The workshop will also take place on 23 April, in Zagreb, Croatia, and is aimed at primary and secondary teachers of Croatian language and literature, class teachers and school librarians. It will be run by Suzana Delić, one of the Horvati Primary School teachers involved in the project.
