Our partner teachers from schools in Croatia, Denmark, Poland, Sweden and the UK came together in Stoke-on-Trent for a three day AMORES workshop hosted by Staffordshire University. We met to discuss how to work with their pupils and students to discover a love for literature through digital collaboration and creativity.

![]() 1st Model Experimental Primary School of Rhodes and more specifically its pupil from first grade Rafaela Familia have won the AMORES logo competition. Our facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/amoresproject During the kick-off meeting of AMORES project, one of the biggest challenges for the consortium was to select the one winner for the logo and one winner for the poster from more than 100 candidates received from many countries in Europe. All the suggestions were outstanding and actually the winners are all the schools and individuals that decided to participate in this competition and use their imagination. In any case, all participants are winners since they send a clear visual message that literature can transcend knowledge and especially when combined with the use of ICT. All the submissions can be found here. Enjoy them! All the participants will receive an appreciation letter from the Project Manager of the project, Mrs Gordana Jugo for their participation in the competition. The winners will receive in addition wither a 1-year Pixton for schools membership for 50 students worth EUR 96 or a gif card for the purchase of books worth EUR 96. Of course these prizes are symbolic and what really has a value is rather the use of logo and of the poster in almost all our dissemination activities at an international, european and national level for at least the next two years and their exposure worldwide.
Congratulations again to all the participants! 1st March 2014 was the last day for any school or individual submitting their logo suggestion for the project AMORES and entering the respective competition. Exactly 100 (a very nice number) logo suggestions were submitted by more than 20 schools (private, public, primary, secondary, high schools, special education schools, etc). It was very encouraging for the project partnership to receive such a big response from the school community. The winner will be announced on 10th March 2014 but all participants are winners since they send a clear visual message that literature can transcend knowledge and especially when combined with the use of ICT. All the submissions can be found here. Enjoy them!
