The teachers and other project members involved in developing the AMORES methodology held a videoconference yesterday to mark the beginning of the next stage of the project - pilot implementation. Five countries – Sweden, Denmark, the UK, Croatia and Poland – met online to chat over a biscuit and a cup of coffee. This was the first opportunity for the teachers to come together after the online course in June and discuss the steps that will need to be taken over the following months. The conference included the planning of parent-teacher workshops, where the students and their parents will learn more about AMORES, as well as an informal focus group discussion to gather additional feedback about the online course which will be published as OER (Open Educational Resources). It was an excellent opportunity for everyone to exchange ideas and raise points that needed clarification.
